Team leadership for KfW-financed TVET modernisation — institutional strengthening, digital transformation, Centres of Competence development and governance
Since December 2025, indeson — through its director Dr. Rainer Gerke as Team Leader and Key Expert — leads the implementation consultancy of the KfW-financed Financial Support for the Comprehensive Technical Education Initiative (FCTI) in Egypt, delivered within the GFA Consulting Group team. The assignment drives TVET modernisation through institutional strengthening, digital transformation, the development of Centres of Competence and governance reform. It advises on technology-enabled teaching, learning-management systems, blended learning and digital trainer competencies, manages a multidisciplinary expert team, and coordinates closely with GIZ, KfW and private-sector partners.
Egypt's Comprehensive Technical Education Initiative modernises the country's technical education system at scale. The KfW-financed FCTI supports this national reform through financial cooperation — and its implementation requires bringing institutional development, governance and digital transformation together: Centres of Competence as modern institutional anchors, and teachers equipped for technology-enabled teaching.
Lead the FCTI implementation consultancy: modernise TVET through institutional strengthening, digital transformation, Centres of Competence development and governance, in coordination with KfW, GIZ and private-sector partners.
